A used Volkswagen Beetle (Classic) may be one of the best cars to own, especially with the current gas prices being so high. Not only is a Beetle a good gas mileage car, they are also one of the most reliable old vehicles around. Parts are also readily available, especially online.
One of the ways to tell when an old car was built well and parts are available is to just look around and pay attention to how many you see on the road today. Typically the VW Beetle still has a large showing on the road. The downside for some areas is the lack of air conditioning in most year models, but if you are in an area that can drive without A/C you may want to check into these great little cars.
